I gave this as a gift to someone who is rather choosy about what he wears. He liked the style very much and was really happy that he can re-charge it with the USB cable included. I was happy with it, because it looks like a hat knit by hand by a very neat and skillful knitter, which was an unexpected, pleasant surprise–and because the recipient of this gift was so happy with it.On cold, dark winter walks, the lights on this hat are great. The light is very clear and bright and it is easy to see–and more importantly BE seen–on even the darkest nights.The red and blue flashing lights are probably not necessary (makes one’s head look like a police car) and probably won’t be used. Other than that, this hat was a hit.

Honestly, for the cost it does the job, but if you want high visibility, and I was under the impression this was, being the first time I bought something like this, basically a flashlight on your forehead. Really it just casts enough light so you can see that you still have a bellybutton, but not much beyond that. It looks bright if you’re looking into the lights but it doesn’t cast far. Have to buy another for the job we need. (Running and fixing cars). Newbie here to purchasing lights for utility. This would be great if you were directing the light at something close up. I just didn’t get what I believe was advertised. Which, could also be my ignorance.

Super comfy, light has 2 settings and comes in handy. Not too sure why it does the blue and red flash? Maybe make a 3rd brightness setting instead. Little big in size also but overall it’s a good buy.

I bought this beanie for my boyfriend. He leaves for work early in the morning. I bought this so he could have his hands free to get ready for work without turning a light on and disturbing me. It’s rather large, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with smaller heads, like me. I can’t wear it without it falling down over my eyes, unless I bunch it up on top of my head.It’s bright and it’s rechargeable. My boyfriend has used it every day, for all kinds of things. He’s had it for a couple weeks now and has charged it twice.

This is a silly gag gift type thing I got my husband for Christmas and he actually really likes it. It’s very big though, and he has a big head. So if you normally think hats are generally too big, this might not work for you
