I am a mail carrier and the USPS approved winter had was too small and not warm enough. I have been wearing this hat for the last couple of weeks carrying mail in Michigan winter weather. It is very warm and perfectly fits my 7 1/8 head. I only have one complaint: the male end of the chin strap buckle has already come off and is lost. I now have to use a bulldog clamp to connect the strap. Velcro or snaps would be a better solution. Suggest manufacturer supply additional male buckles or fix design.

My husband had all kinds of warm gear but he didn’t have a hat. He saw the Winter Trapper hat and had to have it. Not only is it light weight but you can wear it several different ways. Flaps up or down. Mask on or off. There really is a comfort level for just about everyone. He loves this hat. Now I have to figure out how to tell him summer is coming and we’ll have to put it away.

The chin strap is to long and you can not tighten it onto your chin. If you wear this out in the wind the chin strap will not hole the hat on tight. I will have to take the strap off and re sew it so it fits snug. Alot of cold air will come in since it won’t close tightly.

The hat is snuggly warm with soft interior. Worked great in blocking high winds. I never wore it in the rain. Can be used with or without face covering. Well worth the cost.

I got these for my family, but they don’t want it. I am the only one that is wearing them. The neck is still left cold because it’s wide-open, and the mouthpiece is not secured that great. The hat needs to be larger and warmer. Overall, still not bad, but just not great for adults. May be best for kids who are in middle school.
