I’m a tall guy, I have a big head and big ears, and I’m sensitive to the cold. I’ve tried all sorts of brands of the behind-your-head earmuffs, and while they’re always warm enough, they’re never quite long enough and always manage to wiggle out of place.Enter headbands! I thought they might be the solution. And they *almost* are… they actually fit my head! And if I position them *just* right they cover my ears completely. But they’re just not that warm, nothing like earmuffs. They’re better than nothing, but if it’s a windy 30°F out, they only keep my ears half-warm. And they still wiggle out of place so the top or bottom tips of my ears get cold.So I thought… what if I order *two* and wear them doubled up? Crazy, I know. But I did it. And it turns out… it’s *perfect*. Totally warm enough, and I overlap them 80% in the back which makes them wider over my ears… and it’s perfection. I actually sewed a few stitches in them at the front and back to keep them positioned together permanently. So Turtle, if you’re reading this… make a thicker and wider version! But in the meantime, we can make do.

I’ve had a navy Turtle headband/ear warmer for 30 years. It’s just as warm and soft from the day I bought even after numerous washings. I’ve wanted a black ear warmer and any other brand I’ve purchased just didn’t measure up for one reason or another to Turtle brand. So Happy I found on Amazon! This is my go to for my walks and keeping my hair out of my face on those windy days. I highly recommend Turtle brand for it’s warmth, comfort and softness

This feels really soft and fits nicely under my bike helmet but it’s too darn short and hurts my ears.

Super soft and very warm. I purchased this because I work nightshift and spend a lot of time outside in colder weather. Band stays in place which is nice. Only bad thing is when I wear with my prescription glasses it becomes uncomfortable and hurts my head. 100% recommend without glasses, with glasses only recommend for short periods of time.

I’m never disappointed with this brand. They are soft, fit great and wash well. I bought my first Turtle Fur headband about eight years ago and I still wear it. I give these as stocking stuffers for Christmas too. I’ve never had an issue.

It’s turtle fur for sure. It a little narrow all way aroundI have a regular size 66 year old female head. It covers my ears but would like a little more coverage.

Perfect for keeping you warm and your forehead hair out of your face. Wish they made a merino wool version but for polyester it doesn’t cause me itch. Will buy more probs great stocking stuffer
